Candace Owens has continued making waves on social media over her revelations about Turning Point USA (TPUSA) founder Charlie Kirk.
Kirk was tragically assassinated during a campus event at Utah Valley University in Provo, Utah, on Sept. 10.
As Resist the Mainstream previously reported, Owens is in an ongoing battle with TPUSA after accusing the charity of betraying Kirk and engaging in financial fraud. She demanded that those who did not donate to the organization before ask for refunds.
Now, Owens is claiming that her longtime friend was in love with another woman before marrying Erika Kirk.
Erika and Charlie married in 2021. Kirk’s widow has faced massive criticism and has been subjected to damning allegations since her husband’s death in September.
Rumors have spread online accusing Erika of faking her tears during public speaking events about her husband. Some believe that she is reaping the benefits of Kirk’s death.
Owens has led the internet in spreading rumors about Kirk’s assassination. She has speculated the possibility of foreign governments and even the U.S. military being involved in Kirk’s murder.
In a recent episode of the “Candace Owens Show,” she shared text messages between Kirk and her and recalled the times when she would be his “wing-woman” on dates, as the Daily Mail reported.
Owens said she “missed” these days and claimed that Charlie was in love with another woman shortly before marrying Erika.
The former Daily Wire host shared a message from Charlie as he was preparing to go out on a date with an unknown woman.
The Turning Point USA founder shared a picture of himself wearing a company shirt and asked, “Do I have to [change] this [shirt]?”
In response, Owens told him that he should change his shirt and “throw it away” if possible. She said this exchange was one of her “favorite text messages between me and Charlie when he was getting ready to go on a date.”
“He didn’t date many people and he was just kind of in love with this girl,” Owens added.
Many viewed Owens’ comments as a subtle attack against Erika.
During an interview with Fox News on Wednesday, the new Turning Point CEO blasted individuals attacking her family and spreading dangerous conspiracies regarding her husband’s death, which seemed to be a rebuttal against Owens.
“Here’s my breaking point. Come after me, call me names, I don’t care. Call me what you want, go down that rabbit hole, whatever. But when you go after my family, my Turning Point USA family, my Charlie Kirk Show family, when you go after the people that I love and you’re making hundreds and thousands of dollars every single episode going after the people that I love because somehow they’re in on this, no!” Erika said.
