Entrepreneur Bill Gates, who former President Barack Obama awarded the Medal of Freedom, reportedly loved infamous financier Jeffrey Epstein and only stopped hanging out with him because of his wife at the time, Melinda French Gates.
Just mere hours before President Donald Trump signed the Epstein Files Act into law, requiring the Department of Justice (DOJ) to release all files about the heinous sex acts committed by Epstein and his accomplices, messages were leaked exposing Gates’ true feelings about Epstein.
Melinda, however, saw Epstein’s true self and prevented her husband from spending time with him, as the Daily Mail reported.
In fact, according to Melinda, her divorce from Bill was influenced by Epstein.
She sat down for an interview with CBS Mornings in 2022, explaining how she felt after meeting Epstein.
“I had nightmares after meeting Jeffrey Epstein,” she said.
Photographs circulated on social media showing Gates posing with Epstein.
In one such photo, Gates is seen alongside Epstein and his former science advisor, Boris Nikolic.
CBS News revealed messages between Epstein and an advisor to Gates in 2017 in which the pedophile asks if he could sell the tech mogul a donor-advised fund, which he ultimately supported.
The deal never went through, reportedly due to Melinda’s objections.
“He wants to talk to you but his wife won’t let him,” the adviser told Epstein, before revealing that Gates “loves” him.
“He feels bad about the [donor advised fund] btw He thought great idea but wife wouldn’t allow,” the adviser added, referring to Gates.
Despite the adviser’s straightforward comments, Epstein remained unsatisfied and did not give up on his proposal.
CBS News reported that Epstein told the adviser that then-White House counsel Kathryn Ruemmler could conduct a sit-down interview with Melinda to change her perspective of him.
In 2019, the year that Epstein died in federal prison, Gates claimed that he was not acquainted with the notorious predator.
“I didn’t have any business relationship or friendship with him,” Gates said at the time.
In 2021, Gates sat down for an interview with CNN host Anderson Cooper and said that the only reason he had dinner with Epstein multiple times was that he believed the billionaire’s comments about having contacts who could raise billions for global health could lead to groundbreaking investments and negotiations.
“When it looked like that wasn’t a real thing, that relationship ended,” Gates said. “But it was a huge mistake to spend time with him, to give him the credibility of being there.”
Epstein had many contacts throughout his tenure as a billionaire in America. Among those are allegedly former President Bill Clinton, President Donald Trump, Prince Andrew, Larry Summers and Gates, among others.
Trump has been accused of being Epstein’s “friend,” but the president ultimately denied ever having a relationship with him. Several of Epstein’s victims, such as the late Virginia Giuffre, have said that they never saw Trump commit any wrongdoing.
