Newly released police bodycam footage shows Green Bay Packers star running back Josh Jacobs being handcuffed and taken into custody following his arrest on battery charges earlier this year.
The video, obtained by TMZ and published Saturday, October 31, captures the moments surrounding Jacobs’ May arrest after his then-girlfriend accused him of physically assaulting her during a confrontation.
The footage shows Jacobs stepping out of a vehicle in which he was riding as a passenger before officers instruct him to turn around.
Police then place the NFL player in handcuffs and search him near their patrol vehicle.
During the encounter, Jacobs tells officers that his attorneys have possession of his phone because his legal team had been arranging for him to surrender to authorities.
After Jacobs enters the patrol car, officers speak with the individual who had been driving him and thank the driver for pulling over.
