‘Diddy’ Hospitalized After Suffering Prison Injury

Sean “Diddy” Combs was taken by ambulance from a New Jersey federal prison over the weekend after suffering a head injury, according to a report.

The 56-year-old music mogul was transported from FCI Fort Dix early Saturday morning so he could receive medical treatment.

It remains unclear how Combs injured his head or exactly where he was taken for treatment.

According to the report, Combs left the prison at around 1 a.m. and returned before 7 a.m., meaning he was away from the facility for only a few hours.

The brief hospital trip comes as Combs continues serving a 50-month federal sentence on prostitution-related convictions.

He was convicted in July 2025 following a two-month trial.

Combs was acquitted of more serious sex-trafficking and racketeering charges but found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution.

His time behind bars has continued to generate headlines.

Just one day before the reported hospital trip, news emerged that prison officials had disciplined Combs over alleged misconduct inside Fort Dix.

He was sanctioned for “disruptive conduct” and lost 41 days of good-conduct time.

Good-conduct time can reduce the amount of time a federal inmate ultimately serves.

As a result of the punishment, Combs’ projected release date reportedly moved from January 2028 to March 2028.

The disciplinary action followed allegations that Combs had access to a contraband cellphone while incarcerated.

The report claimed he used the phone to view explicit material sent by an ex-girlfriend.

Combs has also faced allegations that he received unusually comfortable treatment inside the low-security prison.

Separate reporting claimed he paid for access to massages, alcohol and special meals.

It was also alleged that someone ensured his toilet and shower were cleaned before he used them.

Those claims have added to scrutiny over how Combs is serving his sentence.

The latest development, however, centers on his health.

Details about the head injury remain limited.

The New York Post did not say whether Combs fell, was involved in an altercation or suffered the injury in some other way.

There was also no immediate information about the severity of the injury or whether additional medical treatment would be required.

The fact that he was transported by ambulance suggests prison officials determined outside medical attention was necessary.

Still, his return to Fort Dix within several hours indicates he was not admitted for an extended hospital stay.

Combs’ conviction followed a highly publicized criminal trial that included testimony about sexual encounters involving his former girlfriend Cassie Ventura and other women.

Prosecutors alleged that Combs arranged encounters involving male escorts and women during events that sometimes lasted for extended periods.

Despite the graphic testimony, jurors rejected the government’s sex-trafficking and racketeering charges.

They instead convicted him on the two prostitution-related transportation counts.

Combs is now serving that sentence while facing additional setbacks behind bars, including the recent disciplinary penalty.

The reported head injury adds another complication.

For now, however, Combs is back at FCI Fort Dix after receiving outside medical treatment.
