Joe Rogan Favorite Swapped Friendly Emails With Epstein

A prominent anti-aging physician recently hired by a major television network is facing intense scrutiny after newly released government documents revealed extensive communications with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Peter Attia, a 52-year-old specialist in metabolic health and longevity medicine, was appointed as a CBS News contributor on Jan. 27.

He is also known for being a recurring guest on Joe Rogan’s podcast.

The announcement came just three days before the Department of Justice released a massive cache of documents related to Epstein.

The newly released files, made public on Friday under the “Epstein Files Transparency Act,” contain approximately 3 million documents.

Attia’s name appears in these files 1,741 times, according to reports.

The correspondence between Attia and Epstein spans several years and includes numerous friendly exchanges.

In one 2015 email, Attia wrote to Epstein expressing frustration about being unable to share details of their friendship.

The email carried the subject line “Got a fresh shipment.”

“You [know] the biggest problem with becoming friends with you? The life you lead is so outrageous, and yet I can’t tell a soul…,” Attia wrote in the message.

A photograph referenced in the email was redacted from the released documents.

The physician, who has built a career as an influencer in the longevity and anti-aging space, also exchanged messages with Epstein that included crude references.

In a 2016 email, Attia made an inappropriate joke about female anatomy in the context of dietary advice.

“P***y is, indeed, low carb. Still awaiting results on gluten, though,” Attia wrote

This message came eight years after Epstein had already been convicted in Florida on charges of procuring a child for prostitution and soliciting a prostitute.

Additional correspondence shows Attia maintained contact with Epstein’s inner circle. In an email to Lesley Groff, who served as Epstein’s longtime assistant and planner, Attia complained about missing the financier’s company.

He stated he would “go into JE withdrawal” without seeing Epstein soon.

The timing of these revelations has created a challenging situation for CBS News.

The network recently brought on Attia as part of a group of 19 new contributors under the leadership of new editor in chief Bari Weiss.

CBS News is currently undergoing significant restructuring under Weiss’s direction, according to the New York Post. The network has not yet publicly addressed the controversy surrounding Attia’s appointment.

Attia was not the only prominent figure identified in the latest document release. The files also mention former UK Ambassador to the United States Peter Mandelson and ex-Prince Andrew.

Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates and Giants owner Steve Tisch were also referenced in the documents.

Additionally, the mother of Mayor Zohran Mamdani was unexpectedly named in the files.

Epstein died by suicide in a New York City jail cell in August 2019.

At the time of his death, he was awaiting trial on federal charges of sex-trafficking of minors and conspiracy to commit sex-trafficking of minors.

Authorities believe Epstein victimized hundreds of women and children over the course of many years.

His death came shortly after his arrest on the federal trafficking charges.
