Hunter Biden Shreds Dad’s Legacy: ‘I Don’t Even Know if I’m a Democrat Anymore’

Hunter Biden has delivered stunning criticism of his father’s presidency, openly challenging the former administration’s handling of border security and the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal in an explosive five-hour interview.

The 55-year-old sat down with Shawn Ryan to discuss a range of controversial topics.

At one point during the conversation, he questioned his own political identity, stating “I don’t even know if I’m a Democrat anymore.”

His most striking departure from his father’s policies came on immigration.

Hunter Biden called for stricter border controls, rejecting the open-border approach that defined much of the Biden presidency.

“We need a vibrant immigration, but we don’t want immigrants that are coming here illegally draining us of resources,” he said.

Hunter attempted to defend his father partially by noting efforts toward bipartisan legislation.

He claimed President Biden had reached an agreement with Congressional Republicans, but alleged that Donald Trump intervened months before the election, threatening to primary any Republican who supported the deal.

He characterized America as “addicted to the problem” of immigration rather than genuinely seeking solutions.

His comments come as Customs and Border Patrol reports border crossings have dropped 92 percent from the Biden administration’s peak under Trump’s policies, according to the Daily Mail.

The Trump administration has implemented numerous measures reversing Biden-era policies.

These include resuming border wall construction, reinstating the “Remain in Mexico” policy, increasing deportations, reimplementing travel bans, pausing certain green card programs and conducting mass deportation flights to Central and South America.

Hunter’s current stance contrasts dramatically with his July interview with YouTuber Andrew Callaghan.

In that conversation, he launched an expletive-filled attack on Trump’s border policies and defended illegal immigrants.

“How do you think your hotel room gets cleaned? How do you think you have food on your f***ing table? Who do you think washes your dishes? Who do you think does your f***ing garden?” he said at the time.

He also argued that “White men in America are 45 more times likely to commit a f***ing violent crime than an immigrant.”

Beyond immigration, Hunter addressed the Afghanistan withdrawal, calling it “an obvious f***ing failure.”

While initially suggesting blame lay with execution and military leadership, he acknowledged his father’s ultimate responsibility.

“I think there was a better way to do it. I can blame it on his generals, the people, the way we did it. But my dad always knew the buck stops with him. That was a failure,” he said.

The chaotic withdrawal resulted in 13 Marine deaths, and government watchdog reports found billions in taxpayer-funded equipment abandoned in Afghanistan.

Hunter also confirmed reporting about his financial troubles.

He revealed he carries between $14-15 million in debt with no clear path to repayment.

“I’ve been tied up in criminal and civil and in courts and you know, I got, I don’t know $14-15 million in debt that I have no idea that I’m going to be able to pay off,” he stated.

His financial woes intensified after the Palisades Fire destroyed his $15,800-per-month Malibu rental on Jan. 7.
