Reiner was taken into custody Sunday night after police responding to a welfare check discovered the bodies of Rob Reiner, the legendary director behind films such as The Princess Bride and When Harry Met Sally, and his wife Michele. Investigators said the couple appeared to have been violently attacked inside their mansion.
