For months, conservative commentator Candace Owens has spread multiple theories regarding the tragic assassination of her friend Charlie Kirk.
On Sept. 10, Kirk was brutally assassinated during a Turning Point USA event in Provo, Utah.
Since that day, Owens has been the most vocal individual on social media about her friend’s death. She has theorized the possibility of foreign play in Kirk’s death and has dismissed the U.S. government’s narrative that suspect Tyler Robinson is the true assassin.
Owens alleged that Kirk was “betrayed” by Turning Point on Tuesday, claiming that she was given information to support such a claim, as the Daily Mail reported.
“I now can say with full confidence that I believe Charlie Kirk was betrayed by the leadership of Turning Point USA and some of the very people who eulogized him on stage. Yes I will be naming names and providing evidence for my claims. And I am making a personal plea to every well-meaning person who donated to this Godforsaken organization to request a refund. You were lied to. And leadership knew,” Owens wrote on X.
Turning Point immediately rebutted Owens’ claims and noted that top leadership officials within the conservative organization have been subjected to levels of harassment never seen before, including from left-wing groups such as Antifa.
“My friends have had to endure harassment from people who have gotten whipped up by what Candace is saying,” Kirk’s former producer, Blake Neff, said. “In fact, I would say we have suffered more harassment from these people than we have from Antifa supporters who overtly celebrate Charlie’s murder.”
Shortly after Kirk’s death in September, Owens appeared to suggest that Israel was involved in the conservative firebrand’s death. She, alongside many other conservatives, noted that just days before his assassination, Kirk spoke out against Israel.
In an interview with Valuetainment founder Patrick Bet-David, Kirk railed against the Holy State, claiming that it would try to “ethnically cleanse” Gaza. The former Turning Point USA CEO appeared nervous as he made the suggestion and noted that he had to be “very careful” with what he said.
Kirk’s opposition to the Jewish State came after he was a fierce defender of Israel for years and debated college students who criticized the U.S. ally.
After accusing Israel of partaking in Kirk’s death, Owens then suggested that the Egyptian government could have played a role, citing flights from government aircraft that landed at states where Turning Point would hold events for years.
Just days after Kirk’s death, Owens claimed that Erika Kirk “knew everything” regarding the discussions between Israel and her husband.
“Bibi Netanyahu also spoke about how he called Charlie two weeks ago to ‘invite him to Israel’. That phone call is lacking context. He should provide the proper context of what and who inspired him to make that call and exactly how Charlie replied to the invite,” Owens said, replying to a post that claimed Kirk was going to lose one of his major donors for refusing to deplatform Tucker Carlson.
In response to Owens’ post, one user inquired about Erika’s knowledge concerning her husband’s discussions.
“Erika knows everything,” Owens fired back.
