Trump Betrays MAGA With Outrageous Move

The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), which was initially led by tech mogul Elon Musk, has officially shut down.

DOGE was an essential part of the Trump administration, responsible for uncovering concealed fraud within the federal government.

For example, in April, the department revealed that illegal immigrants on the terror watchlist were being given government benefits under the Biden administration. Such a revelation, although shocking, pales in comparison to other discoveries made by DOGE.

Musk departed DOGE in May amid a conflict and disagreement with President Donald Trump and some of the president’s top officials. Although Musk’s role was temporary, he left the White House just a day after criticizing Trump’s legislative policy.

Six months later, the bombshell department is no longer.

DOGE’s final blow was delivered by Office of Personnel Management Director Scott Kupor, who pointed out that the agency “doesn’t exist,” as the Daily Mail reported.

Conservatives on social media reacted to DOGE’s elimination with melancholy, with some noting that the department was doomed to fail after Musk’s departure.

“DOGE: Without Elon Musk guiding the ship the DOGE team was disbanded. DOGE is gone. The Trump-Musk cost cutting office was dissolved eight months early & absorbed by OPM. Bureaucrats reasserted control little by little after Musk stepped out. Huge setback for federal reform,” amuse wrote.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) reacted to the news by pointing out the positive effect that DOGE had on America.

“DOGE fought the Swamp and the Swamp won,” DeSantis said.

Rasmussen Reports pollster Mark Mitchell argued that if DOGE had remained in place, the GOP would have had a lock on young voters in forthcoming elections.

“Republicans probably could have won for a generation with young voters because of Doge. Now it’s dead… All because Republicans wanted their big payday bill,” Mitchell said.

Other conservative accounts expressed their “disappointment” over DOGE’s closure.

“DOGE shutting down is a huge disappointment. Government is only ever growing and this seemed like a golden opportunity to reign things in. Major L for the administration. They could’ve done better,” The Rabbit Hole wrote.

DOGE shut its doors with 8 months left to its mandate, sparking confusion as to why the Trump administration decided to close the consequential department.

MAGA’s disapproval with the latest Trump administration move comes weeks after the base railed against the president over his decision to delay the release of the notorious Epstein files. Given the backlash, Trump signed the Epstein Files Act last week, requiring the Department of Justice (DOJ) to release all records associated with Jeffrey Epstein.
