‘The Two FBIs’ Sparking Bureau’s Internal Civil War Exposed

Former FBI special agent Nicole Parker has published a book detailing what she describes as a fundamental split within the federal law enforcement agency.

The former agent began her FBI career after graduating from the FBI Academy and was assigned to the Miami Field Office.

She initially worked on white-collar crimes before transferring to squad C15, where she served on what was described as the number one nationally ranked violent crime fugitive task force.

The author’s perspective on the bureau changed over time as she observed what she characterizes as the FBI becoming politically and socially weaponized, according to the book.

She describes witnessing the emergence of two distinct factions within the agency.

The first group, which she labels FBI 1, consists of agents who joined with pure motives to serve Americans and put victims’ needs first.

These individuals are described as ethical, honoring their oath to uphold the Constitution and protect in a fair and unbiased manner.

They work hard without seeking fanfare or self-promotion.

The second faction, referred to as FBI 2, is characterized as the opposite.

This group comprises FBI employees who abuse their law enforcement power to push political and social agendas, according to the author.

Many of these individuals allegedly hold leadership positions either at headquarters in Washington D.C. or in executive management nationwide.

The author states that FBI 2 members are not confined to one location or role but are interspersed throughout the agency from top to bottom.

She describes their mindset as covering a broad spectrum, ranging from haughty arrogance to blasé laziness.

In the book, Parker suggests the FBI is embroiled in what she describes as a civil war between these two factions.

She frames the conflict as integrity and meritocracy on one side versus personal agendas and identity politics on the other.

The author describes protecting the American people and upholding law and order as priorities for FBI 1.

She characterizes FBI 2 as focusing on DEI initiatives and politically motivated cases rather than serious crime investigations.

The decision to leave the FBI came two years into the Biden administration in October 2022, Parker explained in an op-ed for Fox News.

The former agent describes agonizing over the choice but ultimately determined it was time to depart.

She references following the Lord’s intended path in her decision-making process, stating that trusting in Him enabled her to walk away despite the difficulty.

The author expresses continued sadness that conditions deteriorated to the point where leaving became her best option.

The former agent discusses casualties from this internal conflict, both literal and figurative.

Two agents were killed while executing a search warrant on a child predator, including one who was described as her closest friend in the bureau.

The author characterizes her deceased friend as a spectacularly gifted and devoted agent whose legacy deserves better than what the FBI was offering.

She acknowledges that her perspective was not unique and that others also left the agency.
