In yet another sickening revelation concerning a Democrat from California, a politician was allegedly caught on an airplane watching pornography images, specifically women in lewd clothing.
Rep. Brad Sherman (D-CA) was photographed by an individual in the aisle across from him scrolling on X, looking at women in bikinis and bras.
Sherman’s mouth was wide open as he stared at the images.
The California Democrat went viral on social media over the controversial move.
However, despite the photographs, Sherman said that the images just happened to pop up on his X feed, as Fox News reported.
“This was on Twitter. These pictures came up on ‘For You’,” Sherman told Punchbowl News co-founder John Bresnahan. “I must’ve looked at more than 1000 posts.”
Sherman is now the second California Democrat to find himself embroiled in controversy.
As Resist the Mainstream previously reported, District 4 Supervisor Isabella Alcaraz, appointed by San Francisco Mayor Daniel Lurie (D), resigned from her supervisor post after just seven days following reports that she had left dead animals in the freezer of a pet store she had owned.
Sherman was lambasted by users on X, who questioned why the California Democrat was looking at lewd photos in a public space.
Several people responded to Sherman’s defensive rebuttal, arguing that the “for you” page on X is based on a user’s preferences and what they typically view.
“Rep. Brad Sherman (D-CA) caught staring creepily at adult imagery on a plane on Friday. Sherman was interviewed about it and said it just showed up on his ‘For You’ page of his 𝕏 feed. Does he realize those ‘For You’ suggestions are populated based on his previous viewings?” Paul Syzpula said.
Conservatives criticized Sherman over his response to the backlash, with one particularly asking why the congressman was looking at the photos with his mouth open.
“Why does he look at them with his mouth open?” one person asked.
Sherman’s spokesperson released a statement placing blame on tech mogul Elon Musk for the pictures appearing on the congressman’s page.
“This was nothing more than scrolling through Twitter — and unfortunately, Elon Musk has ruined the Twitter algorithm to give people content that they don’t ask for or subscribe to,” the spokesperson said.
White House Communications Director Steven Cheung shared the infamous photo of Sherman on the plane and described the picture with five words: “Bruh. What a total goner.”
Sherman quickly fired back at Cheung and called on the White House to release the Epstein files.
President Donald Trump and his administration have been heavily criticized, including by members of the MAGA community, for delaying the release of the highly sought-after documents.
The president has rebuked Democrats for focusing so heavily on the “Epstein hoax,” as he put it.
Trump even withdrew his endorsement of longtime ally Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA), who claimed that the president issued such a move after she texted him to investigate the flight logs in the files.
