Gross Trump Accusation Surfaces in Epstein Emails

An explosive email in the Jeffrey Epstein files referencing President Donald Trump “blowing Bubba” has grabbed widespread attention on social media, reigniting scrutiny over the president’s past connections to the disgraced financier.

The newly released documents come from more than 20,000 pages disclosed Wednesday by U.S. lawmakers, shedding fresh light on Epstein, who died by suicide in a New York jail in 2019 while facing sex trafficking charges.

Some of the emails mention Trump directly, including one sent by Epstein’s brother, Mark, referencing photos of Trump “blowing Bubba.”

“Bubba” is widely known as a nickname for former President Bill Clinton.

However, Mark Epstein clarified to Newsweek that the individual in the email was not Clinton, offering no further details about the identity of “Bubba” or the context of the email.

In one March 2018 email, Mark Epstein instructed Jeffrey Epstein to ask Steve Bannon, Trump’s former chief strategist, if Russian President Vladimir Putin possessed “the photos of Trump blowing Bubba.” He added, “You and your boy Donnie can make a remake of the movie Get Hard.”

Social media quickly exploded over the bizarre phrasing, with users questioning the meaning of the email.

The account Call to Activism, with over 1.1 million followers, posted: “WTF: In one of the leaked emails, Mark Epstein, Jeffrey Epstein’s brother suggests to ask Steve Bannon if Putin has ‘the photo of Trump blowing Bubba,’ to which Epstein replied, ‘and I thought—I had tsuris,’ which is Yiddish for troubles.”

Trump has consistently denied any wrongdoing in connection with Epstein and has said their friendship ended in the early 2000s. He responded to the release of the emails on Truth Social, writing:

“The Democrats are trying to bring up the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax again because they’ll do anything at all to deflect on how badly they’ve done on the Shutdown, and so many other subjects. Only a very bad, or stupid, Republican would fall into that trap. The Democrats cost our Country $1.5 Trillion Dollars with their recent antics of viciously closing our Country, while at the same time putting many at risk—and they should pay a fair price. There should be no deflections to Epstein or anything else, and any Republicans involved should be focused only on opening up our Country, and fixing the massive damage caused by the Democrats!”

Other emails involving Trump also draw attention. In exchanges between Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein referred to Trump as “that dog that hasn’t barked.” In an email to author Michael Wolff, Epstein claimed Trump “knew about the girls as he asked Ghislaine to stop.”

House Oversight Committee Ranking Member Robert Garcia, a California Democrat, weighed in, saying: “The more Donald Trump tries to cover up the Epstein files, the more we uncover. These latest emails and correspondence raise glaring questions about what else the White House is hiding and the nature of the relationship between Epstein and the President.”

The emails additionally reference correspondence with former Trump adviser Steve Bannon and ex-Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, underscoring the widespread scrutiny the Trump administration faces over its links to Epstein.

The release of these documents comes as Congress debates whether to make all Epstein-related government records public. A petition to force a vote surpassed the required 218-signature threshold on Wednesday, setting the stage for a House vote on full transparency.
