Dem Daring Plagued With Controversies Exposed While ‘Seriously Weighing’ Big Political Move

Federal Election Commission records reveal that Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) has allocated nearly $75,000 in campaign funds for luxury accommodations, premium transportation services and security expenses across various American cities throughout this year.

The spending patterns documented in Crockett’s FEC filings show significant expenditures at high-end establishments far from her Dallas-area district.

The campaign’s financial records indicate travel to Martha’s Vineyard, Chicago, New York City, Las Vegas, San Francisco and Los Angeles, among other metropolitan areas.

Campaign finance documents show that since January, Crockett’s operation has spent $25,748.87 on upscale hotels and limousine services alone. The lodging expenses paint a picture of frequent stays at premium properties across the country.

Among the notable hotel expenditures, the campaign paid $4,175.01 to the Ritz-Carlton and $2,304.79 to The Luxury Collection.

Additional high-end accommodations included $5,326.52 to the West Hollywood Edition in Los Angeles.

The spending continued with $1,173.92 at the Times Square Edition in New York City.

In Las Vegas, the campaign allocated over $2,000 combined to the Cosmopolitan and Aria resort properties.

Martha’s Vineyard accommodations accounted for substantial expenses as well, with $2,703.14 paid to the Edgartown Inn and $3,160.93 to The Coco. These expenditures occurred in one of the nation’s most exclusive vacation destinations.

Transportation costs added significantly to the total, with the campaign paying $2,728.00 to Transportation 4 U, a Chicago-based limousine company.

The service, which advertises itself as providing “top-tier limousine experiences tailored to your needs,” featured Crockett in its client gallery on Yelp.

The company posted a photograph showing Crockett dressed casually in a red sweater, captioned: “We were honored to provide transportation services for Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett during her visit to Chicago.”

Additional premium car service payments included $2,310.30 to DCA Car LLC and $1,254.00 to Bay Area Limousine.

Security expenses accounted for nearly $50,000 of the total spending during the same period.

This expenditure has drawn attention given Crockett’s previous public statements regarding police funding.

Fox News reported that in 2021, while serving in the Texas House of Representatives, Crockett articulated her position on the issue.

“The Defund movement seeks to actually bring about healing and finally invest in our communities to make them safer, addressing the root causes of crime and by allowing the professionals to do their respective jobs,” she said.

“Defund is about finally being smart on crime. Defund is about lightening the load for our offices of all things they didn’t sign up for. Defund is about finally being fiscally responsible when it comes to policing in this state.”

Crockett, who has emerged as a prominent voice within the Democratic Party, recently indicated she is considering a potential Senate campaign against Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX).

In an October interview with Politico, Crockett stated, “I am seriously weighing it to the extent that I’m about to spend a lot of money to get data.”

Crockett has been at the center of multiple controversies this year.

Most prominently, she referred to Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX), who is paraplegic and uses a wheelchair, as “Governor Hot Wheels,” Resist the Mainstream reported.

She stated: “Y’all know we got Governor Hot Wheels down there – come on now! And the only thing hot about him is that he is a hot a– mess, honey.”
