Patel Blindsided by Catastrophic News

In a shocking showdown between top officials at the White House, U.S. District Attorney for the District of Columbia Jeanine Pirro has prohibited FBI Director Kash Patel from continuing his extensive firings at the bureau.

Over the past month, Patel has carried out a slew of firings at the FBI, terminating dozens of agents who investigated President Donald Trump in the past.

Now, Patel has been forced to stop in his tracks.

The FBI director has faced hefty criticism, most recently for his move to use a private FBI jet to visit his girlfriend, country singer Alex Wilkins.

Patel was reportedly “enraged” over such criticism online that he ordered a longtime FBI agent to be fired over the issue, according to Syracuse.

Former FBI agent Steven Palmer, who oversaw the FBI’s fleet of jets, was fired amid the controversy.

Amid a government shutdown, Pirro is blocking Patel from continuing to fire FBI agents, as reported by the Daily Mail.

New York Times D.C. Correspondent Glenn Thruss made the revelation on X.

Pirro reportedly stopped the firings because it would delay work on ongoing cases at the FBI.

“NEWS: Jeanine Pirro has interceded to stop Kash Patel’s firing of 4 veteran F.B.I agents targeted for their work on J6 cases, according to sources. Firing the agents would hamper work on ongoing cases, she argued,” Thrush wrote.

As of this week alone, Patel fired four top FBI officials who notably worked with then-Special Counsel Jack Smith to target Trump.

According to Reuters, the four agents are Jeremy Desor, Jamie Garman, Blaire Toleman and David Geist.

Of the four, two Toleman and Geist had their terminations walked back after Pirro’s move.

However, Garman was placed on administrative leave weeks ago after Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) released bombshell documents on “Arctic Frost,” which was a codename for over 1,00o pages of subpoena from Smith’s investigation of Trump.

As for Desor, the FBI official has been the target of online criticism in the past weeks following the “Arctic Frost” release. He remains fired.

Pirro’s move comes after Trump nominated her to serve in her current role in June.

Pirro, a former Fox News host, is now the top federal prosecutor in the nation’s capital. The Senate confirmed her in August.

As one would imagine, Pirro has been a longtime ally of the president, even during her time at Fox News.

On Oct. 13, the top D.C. prosecutor released a very appreciative post about her boss for his extensive efforts in ending wars across the globe.

“There has never been a greater president in my lifetime than @POTUS Donald Trump. He is not only ending wars and bringing peace, he is creating hope and prosperity where there was none. Never has a president been able to accomplish what he has, especially in nine short months,” she said.
