NYC Dem Candidate Exposed in Major Bombshell

New York City Democratic mayoral candidate and frontrunner Zohran Mamdani was captured smiling next to Communist Cuba’s delegation, sparking massive backlash.

Mamdani, a socialist, has been at the forefront of controversy as the New York City mayoral race heats up.

Just recently, the National Basketball Association’s (NBA) New York Knicks sent Mamdani a cease-and-desist letter over his unauthorized use of the team’s logo, as Resist the Mainstream previously reported.

That’s not all, however.

Resist the Mainstream also revealed that a political action committee (PAC) tied to Mamdani was linked to a pro-terror group.

Once again, Mamdani finds himself in controversy over his candid smile next to the delegation of the Communist Cuban regime.

The New York Post shared an image of Mamdani with members of Cuba’s U.N. delegation in Albany last year.

As the outlet noted, former NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio (D) traveled to Cuba and visited socialist Nicaragua.

Miami Mayor Francis Suarez, who is of Cuban ancestry, lambasted Mamdani’s policy proposals and pointed out that they are similar to those of Cuban dictator Fidel Castro.

Mamdani has called for the establishment of government-owned grocery stores in the Big Apple. This, he believes, will lead to affordable food for citizens.

It will, however, lead to the destruction of private businesses in the city.

Given that the Communist government runs grocery stores in Cuba, Suarez rebuked Mamdani over his proposed idea.

“We were sort of born in the city of Miami out of the trauma of having fled our country of birth, which was Cuba. My dad came at 12, my mother at seven. And there, a young charismatic leader, not too different from Mamdani, said, you know, convince the population, give us all your property, give us all your businesses, and we’ll make everybody equal and he did. He made everybody equally poor. He made everybody equally miserable,” Suarez told Fox News host Lara Trump.

In a previous interview with conservative commentator Benny Johnson, Suarez urged New Yorkers not to elect Mamdani, saying that “socialism is easy to sell.”

“Don’t want to see a major city fall. New Yorkers.. Reject Zohran Mamdani’s policies. Don’t be fooled. Socialism is the easiest sell,” Suarez said.

Despite the fact that his proposed grocery store plan resembles that of Communist countries like Cuba and Venezuela, Mamdani recently slammed the leaders of both countries as “dictators.”

“I want to be clear on where I stand. I believe both Nicolas Maduro and Miguel Diaz-Canel are dictators,” he said. “Their administrations have stifled free and fair elections, jailed political opponents and suppressed the free and fair press.”

Nicolas Maduro is the current president of Venezuela, while Miguel Diaz-Canel leads poverty-stricken Cuba.
