Trump Drops Shocking Global Announcement

In a significant win for the Trump Administration, President Donald Trump signed a shocking peace deal between Cambodia and Thailand.

The president signed the groundbreaking achievement in Malaysia on Saturday.

Such an agreement comes after Cambodia and Thailand have been engaged in violent clashes over the years.

Specifically, both countries were involved in a five-day war that began in July. Thankfully, the U.S. and Malaysia were able to mediate the war.

Now, it appears that both nations will be at peace for some time to come, given Trump’s involvement and steadfast commitment to ending violence across the globe.

Trump announced the peace agreement on Truth Social.

“I am on my way to Malaysia, where I will sign the great Peace Deal, which I proudly brokered between Cambodia and Thailand. Sadly, the Queen Mother of Thailand has just passed away. I send my condolences to the Great People of Thailand. I will be seeing their wonderful Prime Minister when we land. In order to accommodate everyone for this major event, we will be signing the Peace Deal immediately upon arrival. See you soon! President DJT,” he said.

Upon signing the agreement, Trump emphasized its importance and the significant worldwide benefits it will bring, Trending Politics reported.

“Millions of people are alive today because of this peace treaty,” the president said.

“The United Nations should be doing this, but they don’t do it. They don’t do it. They turned off my teleprompter. When I made a speech, I had to make a speech without a teleprompter. They’re good at that. The escalator wasn’t working too well. It came to a complete halt,” he went on.

Trump then claimed that the U.N. has “great potential” but is unwilling to broker peace deals.

“But, I mean, the United Nations has such great potential. I wish they could do it. They didn’t get involved with us at all. We just did the deal and reported the deal, and everybody was sort of amazed that we got it done so quickly and so nicely,” he said.

Since taking office in January, Trump has been crowned the “peace president,” having taken strict action to enforce peace across the world.

Most recently, Trump mediated a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas, who had been at war with one another since October 2023.

The president, however, has been unsuccessful, thus far, in ending the deadly Russia-Ukraine war, given the Kremlin’s violation of multiple ceasefires.

Trump said that he would not “waste” his time meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin until he knows there is a deal with Ukraine in place. He cancelled his scheduled meeting with the Russian president, which was to take place in Budapest, earlier this week.
