GOP Rep Reveals Bold Pro-Trump Strategy That Will Trigger Leftists

Supporters of President Donald Trump are expressing frustration with the Nobel Committee, claiming the organization has consistently overlooked his foreign policy successes.

In response, Rep. Claudia Tenney (R-NY) announced plans for a new global award to honor leaders who achieve lasting peace through decisive action and strength.

Tenney, who has twice nominated Trump for the Nobel Peace Prize, criticized the committee for what she sees as a growing politicization of the award.

She argued that Trump’s record of “peace through strength” has been ignored, while political symbolism appears to drive the selection process.

“The Nobel Peace Prize once stood for strength, integrity, and moral clarity,” she wrote in an opinion column, according to Newsmax. “Today, it too often rewards symbolism and politics instead of real achievement.”

In her Saturday piece, Tenney introduced the “Trump Peace and Prosperity Award,” designed to recognize leaders who advance peace by defending freedom, promoting human rights and fostering economic stability.

She positioned the new award as an alternative to an institution she believes has lost credibility in global diplomacy.

“If the committee continues to deny reality, we will build something better,” Tenney wrote.

Tenney highlighted Trump’s foreign policy record, citing achievements she says have improved global stability.

These include the Abraham Accords, which formalized diplomatic relations between Israel and several Arab nations; the elimination of key ISIS leaders and networks and efforts to contain the nuclear ambitions of Iran and North Korea.

According to Tenney, these actions demonstrate that peace can be secured not through appeasement, but through strength, clarity and a willingness to confront threats directly.

Contrasting Trump’s record with former President Barack Obama’s, Tenney argued that while Obama received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009, his administration often weakened alliances and emboldened adversaries.

“While Obama gave speeches, Trump delivered peace,” she wrote, framing the award as a recognition of tangible results over rhetoric.

Tenney also addressed the 2026 Nobel decision to honor Venezuelan opposition leader María Corina Machado.

While praising Machado’s courage, Tenney contended that the committee continues to reward symbolic gestures over real-world outcomes.

“The Nobel Committee rewards rhetoric over results and politics over principle,” she said.

The congresswoman emphasized that the new Trump award will honor leaders who combine moral clarity with practical action, providing a standard that reflects results rather than perception.

The initiative seeks to underscore that lasting peace is achieved through preparedness, strength and effective diplomacy, rather than political theatrics.

The announcement coincided with President Trump’s arrival in Tel Aviv to welcome the return of 20 hostages released by Hamas under an agreement brokered during his administration.

The deal also includes the return of deceased hostages, a development Tenney cited as evidence of Trump’s continued influence on international diplomacy.

According to Trending Politics, Vice President J.D. Vance described the situation as delicate, noting that some hostages may never be returned but expressing hope that families could at least gain closure.

Tenney’s proposal represents a concerted effort to reshape the recognition of global peace achievements, focusing on tangible outcomes, accountability and leadership grounded in strength.

The “Trump Peace and Prosperity Award” aims to set a new benchmark for international leadership, celebrating results over symbolism and reinforcing the principle that true diplomacy is measured by the peace it secures.
