Pop star Pink is facing sharp criticism after being accused of glorifying the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
The controversy erupted after a viral TikTok video denounced her comments and social media posts about Kirk’s death.
Kirk, the founder of the conservative youth organization Turning Point USA, was assassinated earlier this month. His killing drew widespread reaction from the public.
Memorial events and tributes took place nationwide, with many conservatives calling Kirk’s work a defining influence on the next generation of activists.
The current backlash centers on Pink’s alleged remarks about Kirk’s death.
Critics say the singer not only mocked his assassination but also spread false information about actions taken by President Donald Trump in its aftermath.
The viral response came from TikTok creator RigoStaRR, who posted a video directly addressing Pink’s statements.
“Exposed: Pink crossed the line, so now it’s time to drag her,” RigoStaRR said.
“You might not like the truth, but I’ll never tell a lie. I’m not doing this to be sensational. I’m not doing it to get clicks. I’m already getting the views. But someone this foul and disgusting, oh, I’m gonna call them out on it. And Pink, b**ch, this one’s for you, home girl.”
One of the key issues raised in the video was Pink’s claim that Trump lowered the American flag to half-staff in honor of Charlie Kirk but never did so after a school shooting.
RigoStaRR countered this point by citing the official White House proclamation following the August 27, 2025, shooting at Annunciation Catholic Church in Minneapolis where Trump’s order explicitly directed that U.S. flags be lowered in memory of the victims.
The proclamation stated: “As a mark of respect for the victims of the senseless acts of violence perpetrated on August 27, 2025, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, by the authority vested in me as President of the United States by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, I hereby order that the flag of the United States shall be flown at half-staff.”
The controversy deepened when RigoStaRR highlighted another post in which Pink allegedly suggested a “funeral idea” for Charlie Kirk.
Her post described an organist playing “Pop Goes the Weasel” while attendees looked at a closed casket “with bated breath.”
This remark drew outrage from Kirk’s supporters, who viewed it as mocking his assassination.
RigoStaRR denounced the comment as an insult not only to Kirk but also to his grieving family, colleagues and supporters.
“You know what’s so disgusting about this is that this b**ch is a mom,” RigoStaRR said in his video.
“If somebody said nasty shit like this about her child, she’d be pissed. But since she’s catering to her woke Hollywood friends… she thinks it’s funny.”
RigoStaRR contrasted Pink’s comments with Kirk’s legacy, pointing to the growth of Turning Point USA in the wake of his death. “Charlie is leaving a legacy. Ever since his assassination, there’s been 54,000 new chapters of Turning Point,” he said.
Turning Point USA was founded by Charlie Kirk in 2012 with a mission to promote conservative values among young Americans.
The organization has held conferences, training programs and campus events nationwide, often focusing on free markets, limited government and constitutional rights.
In his closing remarks, RigoStaRR encouraged people to stop supporting Pink’s music.
“What exactly are you gonna be known for? You haven’t had a hit in years… If you guys have any of her music downloaded, delete that shit. Garbage.”
The video circulated widely across platforms including TikTok, Twitter and Instagram, where many users echoed RigoStaRR’s criticism. The backlash has contributed to a broader conversation about Hollywood celebrities and their engagement with political issues.
Pink, whose real name is Alecia Beth Moore, has built a career with multiple chart-topping hits such as “So What,” “Just Give Me a Reason,” and “Raise Your Glass.”
She has also been outspoken on social and political topics throughout her career, often aligning with progressive causes.
