Tyler Robinson, 22, was arrested Friday in Utah in connection with the killing of conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
Authorities confirmed that Kirk died after being shot in the neck during an appearance at Utah Valley University.
FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino stated that Robinson had been “infected” by extreme leftist ideology in the lead-up to the assassination.
Online postings revealed by various outlets appear to confirm Robinson’s alignment with far-left political views. However, a separate digital trail highlights the views of Robinson’s alleged trans-identifying romantic partner, Lance Twiggs, whom Resist the Mainstream has covered extensively.
A new report has surfaced spotlighting that in multiple Reddit posts, Twiggs expressed admiration for Canadian psychologist Jordan Peterson, who is known for opposing radical leftist ideologies, particularly those concerning gender identity and pronoun usage.
Posts dated between 2020 and 2021 show Twiggs engaging in discussions about Peterson’s work.
In these forums, Twiggs linked Peterson’s writings to “personal growth” and described them as tools for “becoming a better person.”
In one post attributed to Twiggs’ Reddit alias “lancelott3,” the user wrote: “This is the stuff I love seeing on this subreddit.”
“Not political, just pure personal growth attributed to ideas from Jordan.”
In another message, the same account criticized negativity in Peterson-related discussions, according to Daily Mail reporting.
“Jordan’s sub should be about personal growth and becoming a better person. Not a bunch of people acting like edgy 14 year old’s over an old article on an unreliable site,” the post read.
Responding to criticism of Peterson, “lancelott3” wrote: “I am genuinely confused by this sub sometimes. I read 12 Rules [Peterson’s book], and joined.”
“…unless he is a whole different person outside his writing it seems like people use him to leverage their own random ideas.”
Additional posts reveal Twiggs reflecting on personal history.
The account stated: “I used to be extremely openly transphobic and have grown out of it, as well as met some nice transgender individuals.”
Twiggs also shared opinions about the diagnosis of gender dysphoria, writing: “I agree that dysphoria is diagnosed too quickly, especially with teens who simply are struggling with self image issues, but in my mind if someone wants to make decisions that change their mind, it’s their life to do that with.”
Another message continued: “If your reason is that the child is ruining their body, that’s 100% their choice and it doesn’t affect you.”
“I genuinely want to know why you are so strongly opinionated on this.”
Investigators reported that Twiggs has been “extremely cooperative” throughout the inquiry.
Authorities said Twiggs was “aghast” when informed about Robinson’s alleged role in the shooting.
Twiggs and Robinson were living together at the time of the incident.
The Daily Mail previously reported that Twiggs used multiple social media aliases, including “lancelotte” and “lancelott3.”
Posts from the latter account appear regularly in transgender-related online communities, alongside comments defending Peterson’s teachings.
