Kirk Assassin’s Daring Escape in Chilling New FBI Video

A newly released FBI video shows the individual believed responsible for the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk fleeing from a rooftop sniper’s position moments after carrying out the fatal attack.

The footage, taken from Utah Valley University campus security cameras, was made public Thursday night by the FBI and the Utah Department of Public Safety.

The release came during a press conference in which officials offered no new updates on arrests or confirmed leads.

The suspect, dressed entirely in black, can be seen running across the roof of a campus building.

He slowed near the roof’s edge before scaling down to the ground.

The video then shows him walking casually through a parking lot before moving into a wooded area.

The man dropped his weapon as he entered the wooded section of the campus, according to investigators.

Authorities said he also left behind a palm impression and other smudges on the rooftop.

Forensic experts are working to extract DNA from those markings to narrow the search, per the New York Post.

Resist the Mainstream reported earlier Thursday that the FBI released photos of the “person of interest.”

Officials described him as a “college-aged” male wearing a black cap with a triangle emblem and a black shirt featuring an eagle and the American flag.

The suspect remains at large at the time of this writing.

Officials emphasized that they continue to rely heavily on public assistance to identify and locate the individual.

They urged anyone with information to call the FBI tip line.

Authorities reported that the case has already generated more than 7,000 tips, the most received by the Bureau since the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing investigation.

Kirk was assassinated Wednesday afternoon while speaking at Utah Valley University.

He had been hosting one of his well-known “Prove Me Wrong” debates, which often draw both supporters and critics.

Witnesses said a gunshot rang out, striking Kirk in the neck.

Video recorded by attendees showed him collapsing as blood poured from the wound.

He fell from his chair while audience members screamed and scattered.

Security personnel immediately rushed Kirk to a nearby hospital. Despite efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

TMZ reported earlier Thursday that said “person of interest” could be seen on video heading towards the campus.

The outlet said the suspect was pictured heading to campus three minutes before he arrived on campus.

The man is depicted walking with a slight limp, possibly because he is concealing a rifle under his clothing.

The man’s shirt seems to be the same as the man pictured in the FBI’s released photos.
