BREAKING: Chalie Kirk Shot

Update: Charlie Kirk is reportedly alive and his condition is “stabilizing,” according to conservative commentator Nick Sotor, who has spoken to TPUSA sources.

Conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was shot during a speaking engagement at Utah Valley University (UVU) on Wednesday.

Witnesses say the incident occurred during a Q&A session with students, with the gunfire striking near Kirk’s neck, which RTM has confirmed.

The university quickly issued an alert to students, confirming that the campus was on lockdown while authorities responded. “A single shot was fired on campus toward a visiting speaker. Police are investigating now, suspect in custody,” the message read.

Students and staff were advised to remain in secure locations until authorities lift the lockdown. No additional injuries have been reported.

Kirk’s organization, Turning Point USA, verified the shooting to Fox News but did not provide details on his condition.

Political leaders and public figures quickly reacted. Utah Gov. Spencer Cox called for accountability and denounced violence, saying, “Violence has no place in our public life… Our prayers are with Charlie, his family, and all those affected.”

FBI Director Kash Patel confirmed that agents are actively monitoring the situation and assisting local authorities in the investigation.

“Our thoughts are with Charlie, his loved ones, and everyone affected,” he wrote on X, adding that “the FBI stands in full support of the ongoing response.”
