The Justice Department’s Task Force to Eradicate Anti-Christian Bias has released a new report revealing what it calls “numerous instances” of government discrimination against Christians under the Biden administration.
Chaired by Attorney General Pam Bondi and created by President Donald Trump, the task force is examining federal agencies for policies and practices that allegedly targeted Christians.
Fox News Digital obtained the report Friday, which states the task force’s mission is to ensure “any unlawful and improper conduct, policies, or practices that target Christians are identified, terminated, and rectified.”
The report emphasizes that “the federal government will never again be permitted to turn its power against people of faith,” pledging that all religions will be treated equally in both policy and action.
According to the report, multiple agencies mishandled or denied Christian requests for religious exemptions, particularly during the Biden-era COVID-19 mandates, per Fox News.
The Department of Defense, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, and the Department of Labor were singled out for deprioritizing Christian concerns. The Department of Education is cited for imposing record fines on Christian universities, including Liberty University ($14 million) and Grand Canyon University ($37.7 million).
At the Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection reportedly excluded Christian perspectives from detainee directives while accommodating other religions.
The Justice Department allegedly pursued novel prosecution theories against Christians demonstrating their faith, while failing to use laws like the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act to protect Christian places of worship and crisis pregnancy centers.
The FBI reportedly labeled “radical-traditionalist” Catholics as domestic terrorism threats.
The Treasury Department is accused of debanking multiple pro-Christian organizations, while the State Department allegedly offered limited humanitarian relief to Christians and gave muted responses to attacks on Christian populations compared to other groups.
The task force also points to preferential hiring practices favoring non-Christian employees, including restrictions on Christian holiday leave and forced compliance with “radical LGBTQ gender ideology” in foreign and domestic policy.
Housing and Urban Development allegedly discriminated against Christian perspectives in its marketing, removing posts celebrating Christian holidays like Palm Sunday, Good Friday, and Easter while leaving posts celebrating Pride Month, Ramadan, and Diwali.
The Department of Labor is noted for dismantling its faith-based initiatives office and replacing it with a diversity, equity, and inclusion office.
“The days of anti-Christian bias in the federal government are over,” the report states. “Faith is not a liability in America—it is a liberty.”
White House spokeswoman Taylor Rogers said, “Joe Biden weaponized the full weight of the federal government against Christians and trampled on their fundamental First Amendment rights. Unlike Joe Biden, President Trump is protecting Christians, not punishing them.”
The task force began its review in April and plans to continue investigating anti-Christian bias across federal agencies, with a final report expected by February 2026.
The initiative follows Trump’s February executive order establishing a White House Faith Office under the Domestic Policy Council, aimed at empowering faith-based organizations and better aligning federal policies with American religious values.
The task force’s findings mark the first comprehensive effort to document alleged anti-Christian bias at the federal level, signaling a broader push by the Trump administration to reinforce protections for religious liberty across the government.
