Bombshell Docs Expose Huge Biden Scandal

Newly released documents obtained by America First Legal provide insight into how the Biden administration’s Department of Justice handled the issue of school board meetings and parental involvement.

These materials reportedly confirm that then-Attorney General Merrick Garland authorized federal action targeting concerned parents, labeling them potential domestic threats.

On Oct. 4, 2021, Garland issued a memo to the FBI instructing the agency to form a task force aimed at addressing “domestic terrorism” threats at school board meetings.

The directive came at a time when parents across the country were speaking out against left-wing content in education and organizing under parental rights groups.

Prior to the memo, the National School Boards Association (NSBA) had sent a letter to then-President Joe Biden on Sept. 29, 2021.

The letter requested federal intervention in what the NSBA claimed were growing threats and harassment toward school board officials, referring to some parents’ actions as comparable to “domestic terrorism,” per Trending Politics.

Following the NSBA’s request, Garland directed federal law enforcement to work with local agencies to address what was described as potential violence against school personnel.

Garland has since stated that his actions were consistent with DOJ policy and duties.

However, documents newly released by America First Legal suggest internal coordination and political pressure behind the scenes.

One such document shows Tamarra Matthews-Johnson, counsel to Garland, forwarding news coverage of the NSBA letter to Kevin Chambers in the Deputy Attorney General’s office.

Chambers responded, acknowledging the situation and noting that the White House had reached out to discuss how the DOJ might get involved. He admitted difficulty in identifying a federal legal basis to act.

The following morning, Sparkle Sooknanan, then with the Associate Attorney General’s Office, emailed DOJ Civil Rights Division lawyers requesting a quick review of any applicable laws over the weekend. Sooknanan is now a federal district judge.

Later that day, a Civil Rights Division attorney was asked whether she had additional thoughts to contribute. She responded that there was no public or specific information she could add.

In response, she was told the inquiry had reached its conclusion. She thanked her colleague and agreed to pass the message along internally.

One day before Garland’s memo was released, a different DOJ Civil Rights Division attorney raised objections. The attorney warned that no federal statute existed that could be used to limit parents’ First Amendment rights in such settings.

This attorney also pointed out that federal resources were being deployed despite the conduct in question not rising to a federal matter. These concerns were conveyed to Deputy Assistant Attorney General Robert Moossy.

By the morning of October 4, a draft version of the memo was circulating. An updated version was sent at 9:12 a.m. by Myesha Braden, who had removed language related to election integrity after the Criminal Division expressed concern over appearing politically biased.

Later that day, the finalized memo was issued to the FBI, U.S. Attorneys, and law enforcement across the country. It directed coordination to monitor and respond to perceived threats.

America First Legal emphasized that DOJ attorneys had raised serious objections throughout the process. These included issues with legal justification, potential infringements on free speech, and doubts about the NSBA’s claims.

Despite these warnings, DOJ leadership—especially now-Judge Sooknanan—moved forward. The group argued that the memo bypassed standard clearance procedures and shocked DOJ divisions tasked with executing it.
